The one that I discovered in the barn had a wooden blower housing but the restored one had a cast-iron housing (not sure if it's original, newer, or just an add-on job from a Williams mill). Aug 25, 2011· Those are good mills. I have ran a 20" cast-iron housing meadows mill for years with a waterwheel in a mill that is part of a city park. Be advised that Meadows Mills is still in business and that you can get some restoration parts for your mill, such as the hopper, shaker shoe, etc. But be advised that they will be a bit pricey.
